Sonos Roam mount
Available as physical or digital download
Description
This mount was born from a simple favour and a lot of destroyed prototypes. The result is a rock-solid speaker holder that laughs at potholes, survives crashes, and won't go brittle in the sun. Printed in UV-stable ASA, designed for real rides — and when the bike is back in the garage, it mounts straight onto the wall at home or in your motorhome too.
What is inside the zip file
The ZIP file includes a ready-to-use .3mf project file — open it directly in PrusaSlicer and most of the work is already done for you.
The model was designed, printed, and tested with the following setup:
Printer: Prusa MK4S
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Material: Prusament ASA
Infill: 20 %
The .3mf file already has infill modifiers applied to the parts that need to be stronger — those sections will automatically print at 100 % infill, so you don't need to set anything up manually.
The one thing you need to do yourself: select the correct material profile in PrusaSlicer. The project was tested with Prusament ASA, so that's what I recommend — it handles heat and mechanical stress well, which matters for a mount that lives on your bike.
If you print in a different material, make sure it's rigid enough and can handle some outdoor exposure. PETG will technically work but isn't ideal for long-term outdoor use.
