3D Scanning & Reverse Engineering

Do I need to send you the physical object?
Yes — 3D scanning and reverse engineering require the physical object to be here. You can either mail it to us or drop it off locally if you're nearby. We'll confirm the address when you get in touch. We'll take good care of it and return it to you once the job is done.
What size of objects can you scan?
We have two scanners, covering a wide range: - Revopoint Mini 2 — optimised for small, highly detailed objects from about 10 mm up to ~500 mm in any dimension. Precision up to 0.02 mm. Great for jewelry, small mechanical parts, miniatures, and intricate components. - Revopoint MetroX — metrology-grade scanner handling objects from 10 mm up to 1 metre in any dimension. Precision up to 0.01 mm. Better suited for medium-sized parts, engineering components, and surfaces that are dark, shiny, or difficult to scan with structured light alone.
What file formats do you deliver?
Whatever works best for your workflow. Common outputs include STL, STEP, OBJ, PLY, and FBX. If you need a specific format for your CAD software or downstream process, just let us know upfront.
How long does a scanning or reverse engineering job take?
It depends on the complexity of the object and what you need as the end result. A simple scan-to-mesh can turn around quickly; a full reverse engineering job with a clean parametric CAD model takes longer. We'll give you a concrete timeline after reviewing the object.
How much does it cost?
Scanning and reverse engineering jobs are quoted individually — there are too many variables (object size, surface complexity, required output, number of parts) for a fixed price list. Reach out at contact@replicators.sk with a description or photos of your object and we'll get back to you with an estimate.

Digital Models & Shop

What file formats are included with each purchase?
Every model comes with both STL and STEP files. STL is the standard format for slicing and printing directly — works with any slicer (PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Cura, etc.). STEP is the parametric format, giving you full geometry you can open in CAD tools like Fusion 360, FreeCAD, or SolidWorks to modify dimensions or integrate the model into a larger design. If you just want to print, use the STL. If you want to make it truly your own, the STEP is there waiting.
What if a model gets updated after I've already bought it?
You'll always get the latest version — for free, forever. If we fix a print issue, improve tolerances, or release a revised version of something you've purchased, it'll appear automatically in your account. No need to repurchase, no need to ask.
How do I access my files after checkout?
Two ways: - By email — a download link is sent to you immediately after purchase. Note that this link is time-limited for security reasons, so grab your files while it's fresh. - Via your account — log in at any time to access your full purchase history. Account downloads are permanent and never expire, so this is the safest place to return to if you need a file months or years down the line.
My download link from the purchase email has expired. What do I do?
No problem — just log in to your account using the email you purchased with, and all your files are there permanently. The email link is a convenience shortcut; your account is the source of truth.
How does login work? I don't remember setting a password.
Replicators uses passwordless login — there's nothing to remember. Just enter your email on the login page and we'll send you a secure one-time code. Use it and you are in. Works every time, from any device.

General & Trust

Who is behind Replicators?
Replicators is a small independent maker brand based in Slovakia. Every model in the shop was designed, tested, and printed here — not outsourced, not generated. When you write to us, you're talking to the person who built the thing.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay — all processed securely through Stripe. We never store your payment details.
Can I get a refund on a digital file?
Under EU consumer law, digital goods are exempt from the standard 14-day withdrawal right once the download has been accessed — but only if you explicitly consent to this at checkout, which we ask you to do before completing your purchase. If you have a genuine problem with a file — corrupted download, missing files, something that doesn't match the description — contact us at contact@replicators.sk and we'll make it right.
Can I return a physical print if I'm not happy with it?
Yes. If the result doesn't meet your expectations, get in touch and tell us what went wrong — your feedback genuinely helps us improve. We'll work with you to find a fair resolution.
My print arrived damaged. What do I do?
Send us a photo of the damage at contact@replicators.sk and we'll sort it out promptly. You won't need to ship anything back. Once we've seen the issue, you can choose between a reprint or a full refund — whichever you prefer.
I have an idea for a model I'd love to see in the shop. Can I suggest it?
Absolutely — this is exactly the kind of thing we want to hear. If there's something you've been looking for but can't find, a problem you wish someone would design a solution for, or a product you think fits the Replicators spirit, send it our way at contact@replicators.sk No promises, but every suggestion gets read and considered. The best designs on this site started as exactly this kind of itch.

License & Usage

What can I do with the files I purchase?
When you buy a digital model from Replicators, you're purchasing a personal use license — the right to print, not to produce. In practice, that means: Print freely — for yourself, your home, or as a gift to someone. Modify the file — change dimensions, remix the design, adapt it to your needs. Show off your make — share photos of what you printed; we genuinely love seeing it. What's not included: Selling prints — you may not sell physical objects made from our files. Sharing the files — please don't upload, redistribute, or pass on the files, whether modified or not. Commercial use — the files and anything made from them may not be used in a commercial context. If you have a specific use case in mind — a small production run, a community project, a print farm — just reach out at contact@replicators.sk. Commercial licensing is available on request. For the full legal text, see our Personal Use License Agreement.
Can I sell prints I make from your files?
No — our standard license covers personal use only. Selling physical prints made from Replicators files requires a separate commercial license. Get in touch at contact@replicators.sk and we'll work something out.
What if I modify the design — does the license still apply?
Yes. Modifications are welcome for personal use, but the license terms follow the file regardless of how much you change it. A modified version of a Replicators file is still covered by this license and may not be redistributed or used commercially.

Print Services

What printing technologies and materials do you offer?
We have two printing technologies available, each suited to different needs: FDM (Filament) — Prusa MK4 Best for functional parts, larger objects, and mechanical applications. Available materials: PLA — decorative parts, low-stress functional prints, indoor use PETG — good all-rounder, slightly flexible, food-safe capable ASA — UV and weather resistant, ideal for outdoor use ABS — heat resistant, good for enclosures and mechanical parts PC (Polycarbonate) — extremely tough and heat resistant, demanding applications PA (Nylon) — wear-resistant, excellent for gears, hinges, and load-bearing parts TPU — flexible and rubber-like, for grips, gaskets, and shock-absorbing parts Resin (MSLA) — Anycubic Photon Mono M5s Pro Best for high-detail models, miniatures, jewelry, and parts where surface finish and precision matter more than size or toughness. Available resins: Standard resin — great detail, smooth surface, decorative use ABS-like resin — improved toughness and slight flexibility over standard Need a specific material not listed? Get in touch — we can source others on request. Not sure which technology fits your project? Describe what you're making in the notes field and we'll recommend the right approach.
What's the maximum size you can print?
It depends on the technology: FDM (Prusa MK4): up to 250 × 210 mm footprint — good for larger functional parts Resin (Photon M5s Pro): up to 218 × 123 mm footprint — smaller, but with significantly higher detail and surface quality If your FDM part exceeds the build volume, it can often be split into interlocking sections and assembled after printing. Reach out and we'll advise.
How long does it take from order to delivery?
Production time depends on the complexity, size, and material of your model. Once we review your file we'll give you a concrete timeline before confirming the order. Shipping time varies by destination on top of that.
Do you ship worldwide?
We ship worldwide, with the exception of the United States. Due to changes in US customs regulations effective August 2025, all goods imported into the US are now subject to customs duties regardless of value — making postal shipping from Slovakia to the US economically impractical. We hope this changes in the future. For all other destinations, standard international shipping applies.
Can I order a physical print of a model I already bought from the shop?
Yes — if you've purchased a digital model, you'll find an option in your account to order it printed directly. A discount is applied automatically as a thank-you for already supporting the design. No need to re-upload anything.
Do you offer post-processing like sanding or painting?
Not as a standard service at the moment. If this is something you'd find useful, let us know at contact@replicators.sk — enough interest and we'll make it happen.
